At Team Evolution, the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of every athlete is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a positive, respectful, and secure environment where young people can develop to become better skiers and individuals.

Our safeguarding approach is built around prevention, education, accountability, and support. Every athlete, parent, coach, and staff member plays an important role in maintaining a culture of safety and respect.

Elite sport places unique demands on young athletes, and at Team Evolution, we recognise the importance of supporting the whole person, not only athletic performance.

We uphold clear safeguarding procedures and a codes of conduct for all athletes, parents and staff, designed to protect young people and create appropriate professional boundaries. All staff receive regular safeguarding education and training relevant to their roles. All staff also hold a valid safeguarding certificate, first aid qualification, and have completed all necessary recruitment and background checks in accordance with regulations.

Team Evolution is affiliated to Snowsport England, and complies with their Child Protection Policy which is available to be viewed here.

Team Evolution also has an independent Safeguarding Policy, approved by Snowsport England, which can be viewed here. This is reviewed regularly by our senior leadership, and updated by our Club Welfare Officer.
